BIRTHDAY
I turned 40 yesterday! Wooooooo!
Justin succeeded in making me feel super spoiled all day, between getting flowers and a balloon, making me cookies, crashing my CS class to tell my students to wish me happy birthday, and breaking into my twitter account (!) to tell my friends to wish me happy birthday.
In the evening we met my brother and brother-in-law for dinner – they happen to be on Easter(ish) vacation on the NW coast. We picked a restaurant named Marjorie, because of course we did.
And the actual party was actually last Sunday, when my friends and I went out to dinner and then an ESCAPE ROOM, which was super fun. Also, Lillian gave me a chocolate sculpture the size an shape of an ACTUAL HIGH HEELED SHOE, so that I could eat the gender binary for my birthday. ❤
